Catalogue for the exhibition of Vladimír Kopecký for the exhibition at the Mánes Gallery in 2024.
The concept for the selection and exhibition of works is "Vesmír" by Vladimír Kopecky. Questions about the origin of the universe and answers that are hardly imaginable for a mortal occupy Kopecky's thoughts persistently and for a long time. We use the theme of space as a metaphor for the contradictions of the artist's entire work, but it is also reflected in the selection of specific paintings presented at the exhibition.
